La presente pagina Web (http://www.mibamuseum.com), es propiedad del museo de ideas e inventos de Barcelona (en adelante miba).

La página web ha sido creada y diseñada para dar a conocer y permitir el acceso general de todos los usuarios de Internet, especialmente de todos sus clientes y asociados, a la información, productos y servicios diversos, ofertados por esta entidad y las componentes de su grupo empresarial.

El presente Aviso Legal tiene como objeto establecer las Condiciones Generales que regulan el acceso y uso general de la citada pagina web por parte de todos los Usuarios, de manera que, el acceso y uso de la misma implica necesariamente, la sumisión y aceptación de las Condiciones citadas Generales incluidas en este Aviso Legal.

Aim

The Barcelona Ideas and Inventions Museum (hereonin the miba) is the owner of the website (http://www.mibamuseum.com).

The website has been created and designed to provide all internet users, and in particular all miba clients and partners, with information about and general access to the information, products and variety of services offered by this entity and the components of its business group.

 The aim of this Legal Notice is to establish the General Conditions that govern access to the aforementioned website and its general use by all Users, in such a way that access and use of the same necessarily implies submission to and acceptance of the stated General Conditions included in this Legal Notice.

The miba recommends that the User carefully reads the General Conditions each time he/she wishes to use the website, as these General Conditions are subject to modification. In this respect, the miba, reserves the right to make changes without prior warning, updating the content and services included in these provisions of use and access, as well as all matters related to its website.

Access to the web

The User may access the miba website at any time and free of charge.

The miba reserves the right to provisionally or definitively interrupt access to its website at any time and without prior notice in order to carry out maintenance, modifications and content update, for security or control purposes or for any technical or other reason.

The User will be duly notified of this interruption.

The miba relies on third party suppliers for the provision of data transmission and telecommunication networks, and is not liable for the operation and reliability of these networks. As such, access to the website may be suspended or cancelled, and inaccessible for technical reasons.

In the event of the above-mentioned causes, the miba does not guarantee the reliability of its website, and is not responsible for the lack of availability of the website or any of its content.

Exclusive services for clients/partners

Certain exclusive services are available on the website for miba clients and partners. To gain access to these services, the User must already be a client or partner and have accepted the specific conditions that complement those established in this Legal Notice.

Use of the website

A User is any third party who accesses and/or uses the miba website, and must accept that use of the website is the exclusive responsibility of the User. The User agrees to use the website in accordance with the general conditions laid out here and not use the information or services that the miba places at their disposition to carry out activities which are illegal, immoral or which breach public order.

It is prohibited to use the website in any way which disables it, saturates the network or any other IT application or technical support owned by the miba or a third party.

Content

The content of the miba website which is made available to the User is information about the miba itself and/or third parties. As such, the miba takes the necessary measures to ensure that the content is correct and up-to-date.

Industrial and Intellectual Property

Any website content such as graphics, images, texts, technology and content of any nature, (sound, audiovisual, technological, source codes, etc), are the property of the miba, and/or the collaborators who create and maintain the website.

The miba and its collaborators are the sole copyright holders of the entire contents of the website.

In addition, the trademarks, brand names and other distinctive signs that appear on the website are the sole and exclusively property of the miba.

Except in those cases when authorisation is given by the miba, the assignment of the  Industrial and Intellectual property rights of this website is expressly prohibited, as is its reproduction, transformation, provision, public communication, distribution, extraction or use in any way, by any means or  procedure.

The infraction of these rights, aside from being provided for in the corresponding legislation on the subject, amounts to an infringement of these conditions, as well as a criminal offence referred to in articles 270 and those that follow it of the Criminal Code.

Responsibility

The User is liable for any type of damage caused to the miba as a result of non-compliance with any of the obligations to which he/she is subject in this Legal Notice.

Access to the page

The miba is not responsible for any damages caused to the User which are derived from the errors in the data transmission or telecommunication networks that interrupt or cancel the website service.

The miba does not guarantee that the website will be free from viruses or any other harmful components.

It is the responsibility of the User to have the appropriate IT tools and techniques to detect and destroy such harmful components.

The miba is not responsible for any damage caused to the User’s or third party’s computer or peripheral computer devices while using the website.

The miba is not responsible for the decisions made by the User or a third party based on the information obtained from the website.

Applicable legislation and jurisdiction.

The provisions contained in this Legal Notice shall be governed by Spanish law

For any dispute which arises from the access and use of the website, the User and the miba expressly agree to submit to the Courts of Barcelona, waiving any other general or special jurisdiction to which they may have recourse.
